Both girls are off the breathing tubes and took a bottle today. 

Their bilirubin levels were a bit high so they received phototherapy under the lights.  

Increased feedings to 13 cc's (a little more than half an ounce).

Both girls are off their IVs and took a bottle 4 times today. 

They are still under the lights for their bilirubin levels.  

Increased feedings to 26 cc's (a little over an ounce).

No more lights for their bilirubin levels.  

Increased feedings to 36 cc's (almost 2 ounces). 

Ella is back up to 3 pounds 13 ounces and Perry at 4 pounds 2 ounces.

Bilirubin levels down to 6, so no more lights.  

Increased feedings to 40 cc's (2 ounces). 

Definitely moving to South NICU this weekend.

Isolettes set at room temperature and the girls are holding their body temperatures.

Both girls are in open air cribs, but having trouble maintaining their body temperatures.

Perry up to 4 pounds 7 ounces and Ella at 4 pounds 3 ounces.

Both girls gained about an ounce since yesterday.

Perry did 2 bottle feedings in a row.

Finally moved to the South NICU!

Both girls gained about an ounce: Perry at 4 pounds 10 ounces and Ella at 4 pounds 5 ounces.

Perry did 5 bottle feedings in a row and Ella did 4.

Dr. Jung called today and said the girls are going to be discharged on Friday!

Feeding tubes were removed on both girls and they are taking bottles at every feeding.

Perry up to 4 pounds 11 ounces and Ella still at 4 pounds 5 ounces.

Went over discharge "checklist" today.

Both girls are at 55 cc's (almost 3 ounces) and feeding times are every 4 hours now instead of every 3.
